In October, Minot Sertoma Club donated $20,000 to Minot Public Schools to fund 50+ new classroom sound field amplification systems for use in the district as well as an accompanying research study to measure the impact of this technology on classroom teachers’ practices that will be conducted by Dr. Holly Pedersen at Minot State University. Sertoma’s mission is to improve the quality of life today for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss through education and support.
